Boredness

Kairi was walking through town with absolutely nothing to do. She suddenly sighed inwardly. "I'm so bored!! Why does this place have to be so dull?"

Jonathan walked to the water's edge and froze a small portion of it. "It doesn't have to be. If you know where to look." he said, stepping out onto the newly created ice.

Kairi laughs. "I doubt it...Nothing much ever happens around here. There's no excitement or anything."

Jonathan formed a perfect rose--complete with thorns--out of the ice and held it in his hand. "Like I said." he replied quietly, examining the rose. "It depends on where you look." He then dropped the rose onto the ice, shattering it.

Jonathan placed his hand on the ice and made a hole in it. "Underneath, of course." he said absently. He knew alot about marine life, and knew that the stuff near the shore would be particularly interesting.

Kairi stared at him confusedly for a moment. "So you mean that the interesting things are underwater? How could anything interesting possibly be down there! Even if there was something, we would never be able to see it."

Jonathan narrowed his eyes, made the ice a little more solid, brought Kairi onto the ice, and said "Once I clear the ice up it'll almost be like the ice wasn't there." This was true for Jonathan had always had the knack of creating ive so clear you could see straight to the bottom if he'd frozen that far.

Nero and Jack came running from the town, being chased by redcoats. Jack seemed to have something in his hands. "Hey, guys! Bye, guys!" And stopped to shoot two of the 5 redcoats
