History: When Ilfana died (Aeriths mother) Aerith started witnessing magics that not only helped her fight but had the power to save ones life by touching them and removing any infection that they had. Aerith did not know about where they came from, but her emotions are tied to her powers, so her mothers death must have triggered some kind of magical response in her body.
