Escape From The Pelogostos

Cruxis found herself in a cage made of bones suspended over a hundred feet in the air.

"Oh bugger..." she muttered to herself

Daimos walks along a wooden bridge across a wide crevasse. He notices something move from the corner of his eye and looks down. He sees Cruxis in the bone cage and laughs. "Looks like you had a bit of bad luck there, kid! Good luck with that!" He calls then laughs again and continues on his way.

Cruxis frowned sourly at the man who laughed at her. She then focused on finding a way to escape. She looked down to see whether or not she could cut a hole in the bottom. Judging by how high in the air she was, she really, really, couldn't. She then looked to the cliffs straight in front of the cage. Should she try swinging? It was worth a shot. She then proceeded to rock the cage back in forth.

"Well, it's all or nothing." she muttered

Daimos looks over his shoulder and see Cruxis start to rock the cage back and forth. He turns and looks at her curiously. "Well now, this should be interesting..." He grins then leans against a tree with his arms folded watching her.

After about fifteen minutes of rocking back and forth, the cage began swinging as far as it could swing. Everytime it swung forth, Cruxis attempted to grab a vine but she was still too far so she let the cage swing back and then she tried a second time. After about four tries, she managed to get a good grip on the vine.

"Yes!" she cheered

Something caught her eye. She looked up and saw a group of aerial Heartless circling her like vultures. She sighed irritably.

"Note to self," she said "Once I get up there, I kill the Heartless."

Daimos looks at the circling Heartless then looks back down at Cruxis, seeing she has grabbed a vine. "Looks like she did it...hmm...let's see how she deals with the Heartless..." Daimos whispers to himself then continues to watch her.

That ropes about to break, Cruxis.

"What rope?" asked Cruxis looking at Axel

He points at the thin rope you didnt notice was tearing and was seconds from snapping. "Bye..." Axel waved.

"Ohhhhhh crap." muttered Cruxis as the rope was snapping

The rope that she was holding onto broke. As she was falling, she struggled to grab onto another rope which she managed to only this time onto a more sturdier rope.

"Phew." she said

She then proceeded climbing up the huge gorge.

"Uh oh." She grabbed a rope that was about to snap. As the girl was falling Axel jumped and grabbed her before she fell, hanging onto the rocks. "You ok?"

"Umm yeah," said Cruxis "Thanks."

"Yeah," Axel slipped and looked down at Cruxis.

Cruxis noticed some Heartless swooping down to attack. She readied herself by drawing out her Keyblade in her hand.

"Incoming." she said

The Heartless stepped on my feet and we both fell. "Cruxis! Grab my hand!" Axel held out his hand.

Daimos stands watching the two in amusement. "This is more entertaining than I thought it would be...perhaps I should help them..." Daimos pauses. "Then again, it would be better to just watch." Daimos snickers and continues to watch them.

Daimos grins then begins to walk across the bridge in their direction. "I suppose I will help them...though I don't want to." he says quietly then holds up his hand. Dark energy gathers around it. "Grim Wave!" He yells and shoots the remaining Heartless out of the sky.

As they were falling Axel held Cruxis closer and drew his Chakram into the wall, pulling a muscle in his arm. "Ahh! Im not sure I can hold on for long..."

Axel looked down on Cruxis. "I might not make it, but you can...Climb up my body, and try to jump to the other side."

Daimos stands at the edge of the cliff and looks down at them. "Looks like you could use some help!" He calls down to them.
