it lowers your hp cause its better then hugging and the hp lowering prevents you from using it too much

A group of Beserker Nobodies charge down the stairs at them. Daimos lets go of Serenity's hand and draws his other sword. He darts at the Beserkers, forgetting Halloween Town again. There are several flashes of light then Daimos reappears behind the Beserkers with his arms crossed in front of him. He stands up straight then swipes his swords downwards. The Beserkers fall to ground and vanish. He resheathes his swords just as Serenity gets up to him. He looks her over and grins then walks up the stairs.

Serenity smiles to Daimos. "Yeah, thats only the second time I heard that from you." Serenity said turning back to Kyle. "We are getting no where with this. Am I the only one... Wait! Midna! Thats why I can retain my memories longer. She is holding them in for me!" Serenity yelled in excitement. She went to Daimos and hugged him, Midna secretly going to his shadow on Serenity's command to do so.

Daimos tilts his head and looks at her slightly confused. "What's with the sudden affection, Serenity? You feeling alright?" He steps back and grins at her slightly then looks at Kyle. He grabs him in a playful headlock. "Hey, you're looking a little lost there, buddy!" He says playfully.
