A Possible New Beginning

Sora collapses on the bed and drifts off into a dreamy sleep.

Kairi smiles at him and slowly walks out of the room, closing the door behind her. She walks downstairs and into the kitchen, where she begins to cook his breakfast for the morning.

Sora wakes up and looks around "What a good night's sleep, its been a while since I had one" Sora sniffs the air "I wonder what's cooking?"

Kairi begins to sing a little as she scoops the final pancake out of the pan. She places the over-filled plate on the table as two slices of toast pop out of the toaster. She grabs them while they are in the air and sets them in a small plate. She sets down some butter and jam next to them, as well as some milk and a glass of orange juice on the left side of the plate with bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns. "Oops, almost forgot the syrup!" She giggles slightly and sets a small container of syrup on the table as well.

Sora walks downstairs and sees the banquet "Oh Kairi, you didn't have to.."

She smiles. "I know, but I wanted too!"

Sora kisses Kairi on the cheek before sitting down "Thanks"

Kairi blushes a little. "Go ahead, eat up. I have a feeling today is going to be a long day!"

Sora pulls out the chair next to him, "I won't eat until your seated to, Dear"

She smiles and sits down. "You are so adorably sweet Sora!"

Sora places an arm over Kairi's shoulder "Adorable, yes. Sweet? not as sweet as you are or as these pancakes" Sora takes a bite of the light fluffyness of the pancakes.

Kairi giggles and kisses him on the cheek. "So, what do you want to do today, darling?"

Sora leans in close "Well first I want to check up on the kids, then I want to spend the day with you, my love."

Kairi smiles at him but her smile quickly turns sour. "Wait...What kids???"

"Oh! Right!" She laughs. "For a second I thought you meant kids as in your biological children!"

Sora laughs "Yes, them." Sora finishes eating "Shall we go now?"

"Doesn't it always?" Sora laughs

Kairi giggles. "I suppose you are right about that!! Off we go then?"

Kairi smiles at him. "Alright, so where are the children exactly?"

Sora opens the door and walks out into the sunlit Beach, looking over at Kairi. "You coming?"

Kairi laughs. "Uh huh!" She walks out and joins him, holding his hand gently as they walk.
